CHICAGO, Ill. – At drirelease, innovation means optimum performance with maximum comfort. Seeking to honor far-reaching solutions in performance apparel, Optimer Brands – the parent company of drirelease – has announced Kari Traa as a winner of its 2016 innovation award. The award celebrates the Rett Half-Zip Base Layer, and will be featured at drirelease Booth 333 in Hall C3 at the upcoming ISPO show in Munich, January 24-27th.
Designed for high intensity activities on colder days, the Rett Half-Zip Base Layer provides high performance and exceptional comfort. Its drirelease wool combines natural qualities of merino with polyester for additional ventilation and improved moisture management. Kari Traa has designed an innovative panel under the arm that prevents the top from creeping up when being active, proving you don’t have to sacrifice performance for comfort.
“We are excited to recognize Kari Traa and its bold, feminine design, which is a great addition to the women’s market,” said Ashwin Jaju, general manager of drirelease. “And we’re looking forward to partnering with them on more innovative products in the years to come.”
“We are honored to receive the award and very happy that drirelease acknowledges our design and innovation. We are looking forward to continue our innovation and great partnership with drirelease,” said Sissel Himle, marketing manager of Kari Traa.
Winners are selected and announced twice yearly by a drirelease team, based on a review of new or enhanced active wear products, featuring drirelease, across hundreds of global brands. drirelease congratulates these global brands – and their design and product development teams – working together to achieve greater success through innovation.
